Who provides LongTake

LongTake is provided by Ashutosh Kumar under A Neat App. Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@aneat.app.

Camera, microphone and recordings

The app uses your camera to preview and capture photos or video. It requests microphone permission when you choose to record sound. Audio can be turned off. Your captures, thumbnails, recording metadata and settings are stored locally in the app or in a storage folder you select. LongTake does not send your recordings to a developer server.

Photos, files and external storage

Photos access is used to add captures when you choose Export to Photos. Access to a folder or attached drive is granted through the system file picker. If you select a cloud-backed file provider, its own syncing and privacy practices apply. Sharing or exporting a recording sends it only to the destination you choose.

Purchases

Apple processes the optional LongTake Pro in-app purchase. LongTake uses StoreKit to verify purchase entitlement and restore access. We do not receive your payment card details, and we do not operate a purchase-account server.

Diagnostics and device information

The app checks storage capacity, camera capabilities, battery and thermal conditions to operate recording. Local diagnostic logs can help with troubleshooting and stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Apple may provide crash reports and aggregated app statistics according to your system privacy settings. The app contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDK.

Apple Watch and external displays

If you enable the companion Watch remote, control commands and recording status pass between your paired devices through Apple’s Watch Connectivity framework. An external display can show a preview when you connect and enable it. These features do not upload your footage to our servers.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Hosting necessarily processes technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics or a newsletter form. Cloudflare’s processing is described in its privacy policy.

Support email

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you send. Support email is handled through Zoho Mail and is used to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive footage unless it is necessary for the issue you want help with. You may request deletion of your support correspondence.

Your choices and deletion

You can revoke camera, microphone and Photos permissions in system Settings. Delete recordings from the app or the storage location you selected. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to the device’s backup settings; exports and external files remain in their destinations. Purchases and refund requests are managed by Apple.
